Calvinist Cadets

All boys 9-13 years of age are welcome to join us for Calvinist Cadets! We meet every other Friday during the school year, at 7 pm, at the church building. The boys are earning their badges, building things, forming friendships, and learning what it means to be rooted and grounded in Christ’s love (Eph. 3:17-18).

Keddie’s Prayers of the Bible. All ages are welcome! On the last Wednesday of the month, we all meet at the church building.

Threads of Love
(Ottawa East)

The Ottawa East Chapter of Threads of Love is a sewing ministry we began in 2006. The ministry is two-fold: providing care packages to families with premature babies in the NICU and providing items to families facing the loss of an infant. Depending on the trimester in which the loss occurred, we provide memory quilts, memory boxes, miscarriage wrappers, bereavement gowns, and/or blankets. All our items include a card with a prayer for the family.

Our mission is to show parents the love of Christ at a time when their personal loss is hard to endure and to let them know that God is faithful.

If you hear of a family in need, or if you love to quilt/sew/cross stitch/knit and want to get involved, contact Emma (rrpc.threadsoflove@gmail.com).
